About
Destination Coventry is a two-year proof-of-concept collaboration between Coventry City Council and Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce. Our Oversight Board includes representatives from the Council, the Chamber, the City of Culture Trust, the Business Improvement District, Visit England and the private sector.
We represent the city’s valuable tourism, leisure and hospitality sector, which generates¹ almost £600 million, supports circa 7,000 jobs, and attracts over 10 million visitors annually.
Working closely with sector members, local and national partners and the broader industry, we are committed to the successful and sustainable development of tourism, leisure and hospitality in Coventry and the wider region.

Paul
Paul is Managing Director of Destination Coventry and our launch sees the culmination of months of passion and hard work to get us to where we are today. He’s incredibly proud of the team and the work we do to support and grow Coventry’s visitor economy.
Whilst he’s a proud Brummie, Paul has lived and worked in Coventry for longer than he ever did in Birmingham, moving here in the 1990s when he met his wife, Lisa.

Cathy
Cathy leads both the Visit and Conference teams and is a lady on a mission to drive tourism business to Coventry.
She’s our international jetsetter and just loves to travel – even her wedding was overseas in Malaysia, where she walked down the aisle to the Spice Girls singing: “Tell me what you want, what you really, really want!”

Zoë
Zoë works on business tourism in the Conference side of the team, looking at promoting the region for meetings and events. She strives to look for new opportunities to make Coventry and Warwickshire stand out from the rest.
With a background in event management, Zoë always loves a great project to get stuck into. Zoë is our Gryffindor of the team!

Cam
Cameron works on driving business tourism into Coventry and Warwickshire, mainly working on our Conference team. Being a Coventry local, he enjoys being able to actively support the growth of the region as a destination of distinction for business tourism.
Although he worked for Birmingham City FC before he joined us, he’s a passionate Coventry City FC supporter!

Vicki
Vicki works on the Visit side, and her role focuses on maximising the number of visitors to the city and working with the broader team, travel trade, press and influencers, to drive exposure and destination awareness.
Vicki moved to the UK four years ago and truly loves living in Coventry. She is fluent in Spanish, loves salsa dancing and has a passion for cooking dishes from South America.

Abbie
Abbie works as part of the marketing team, mainly on the Visit side, helping promote Coventry as a tourism destination of choice. Abbie loves all things marketing and is committed to helping promote businesses through digital and printed marketing, highlighting the best of Coventry to the rest of the UK and beyond.
Abbie believes paradise is a library, with endless tea and coffee!

Dan
Dan works on the Visit side, predominantly working on digital assets. Dan aims to help promote Coventry’s great tourism offering with modern and engaging digital content. Dan career highlight so far has been his production of a video for our Explore Coventry campaign. The video highlighted the city’s exciting tourism offering and was pushed via our social channels, YouTube and Sky TV, where it gathered upwards of 500,000 views across all platforms.
